Mowry, Ethan Allen Rifle, Cal: .54, MFG: 1965-74, S/N: 6534, Percussion Muzzleloading rifle, 31 3/4'' octagon barrel. The straight wrist wood stock is excellent but is loose. The blued finish on the barrel rates 85% with worn finish on edges & speckled patina. The brass has a aged patina & has electrolysis corrosion in spots. The front trigger guard connection has broken off & needs brazed back together. The right side of the barrel is marked ''54'', ''MOWREY'', ''OLNEY, TEXAS''. The S/N is marked on the left side of the barrel & on the bottom of the brass frame. The bore is excellent. The barrel holds a blade front sight with a notch rear sight. Stock holds a brass buttplate. Rifle has ramrod. Action does function but is tight & binds up. Muzzleloader No FFL Req. - Value: 100 to 300
