UNIQUE SET, Colt, Frontier Six Shooter, CAL: 44-40, MFG: 1900, SN: 197615, Single Action Revolver, 4 5/8'' barrel. The top of the barrel is marked in two lines ''COLT'S PT F.A MFG CO HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.''. The left side of the barrel is marked ''COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER ''. The left side of the frame have the standard patent dates & the circled Rampant Colt logo, with the left side of the circle worn thin. All matching SN on the frame, trigger guard & butt. The Stag grips with gloss finish are excellent. The metal blue finish has worn to a mix of metal gray & remnants of the blued finish, with areas toning to a brown patina. There is intermittent light pitting throughout. Bore is good, still somewhat bright, with roughness & intermittent pitting. integral v-notch rear sight & blade front sight. This gun is accompanied by a hand done Indian Beaded Belt, circa 1900, it is 3 1/3'''' wide, with white body, red Texas roses & stems, all compiled of red, white, green & blue seed beads. Decorative Conchos border each end of the beads. The belt carries a hand stitched, unmarked double loop holster that's been hand tooled with Texas roses to match the belt & an unmarked knife sheath that holds a Wright & Son Sheffield England blade. The blade has intermittent spotting toned to a brown patina. A unique set that would present wonderfully in a Colt or Native American collection. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 2000 to 4000
