Description

Colt, Positive Special, CAL:32-20, MFG: 1918, SN: 161129, Double Action Revolver, 4'' barrel. The top of the barrel is marked with a two line address & patent date. The left side of the barrel is marked ''POLICE POSITIVE SPECIAL 32-20 W.C.F''. The Rampant Colt logo can be seen on the left side of the frame. The butt of the revolver is marked ''W.F. & Co''. The Colt checkered hard rubber grips are very good. The bottom back corner of the left grip has an edge chip & there are minor scrapes & dings throughout. The metal blue finish rates 40% on the barrel & 50% on the frame, with areas worn to metal gray & beginning to tone to a brown patina. Bore is very good & bright, but appears grainy, with slightly thin rifling. Integral U-notch rear sight & pinched blade front sight. Internal parts/mechanical issue. The hammer does not reset after being pulled, has to be manually pushed forward to operate. SOLD AS-IS, NO RETURNS. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 900
