Description

Colt, 1851 Navy - 2nd Gen, CAL: 36, MFG: 1976, SN: 21433, Percussion Single Action Revolver, 7 1/2'' barrel. The top of the barrel is marked ''ADDRESS SAM L COLT NEW-YORK CITY''. The cylinder displays a crisp Naval ship scene, with the engravers name visible. The left side of the frame is marked ''COLT'S PATENT''. All matching SN can be found on the frame, barrel, trigger guard & butt. The wood grips are excellent, with a small edge chip & a few dings to the finish. The metal blue finish on the barrel & cylinder rates 99%. The case-hardened frame & ram-rod retain excellent case-colors. The silver tone trigger guard is excellent, with the right side under the frame fading to a brass tone. Bore is excellent. Small brass cone front sight. Comes in a custom wood case, with powder flask & dual cavity bullet mould. The top back edge of the lid has some damage, otherwise excellent. Black powder, No FFL Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
