Description

RARE & EXCEPTIONAL, Colt, 1911 National Match Pre-WWII, CAL: 45 ACP, MFG: 1938, SN: C190771, Semi Auto Pistol, 5'' barrel. The two-line address & patent dates are marked on the left side of the slide & ''NATIONAL MATCH COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE .45'' followed by the Rampant Colt on the right. The right side of the frame is marked ''GOVERNMENT MODEL'' over the serial number, with ''60'' on the right side of the trigger guard & ''T/VP'' on the left. The checkered Walnut grips are near mint, with only a few minor handling marks. The original metal blue finish rates 98% overall. Bore is near mint. Factory added adjustable rear sight & blade front sight. Factory added ''New Safety Device''. This pistol comes complete with a Colt Factory Letter, confirming the configuration, date & details of the pistol. This is an extremely desirable pistol amongst Colt collectors & hard to improve the condition of this Pre-WWII National Match pistol. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 7000 to 11000
