Description

Colt, Model: M1911 Government Model, Cal: .45 ACP, MFG: 1930, S/N: C158045, Semi-auto pistol, 5'' barrel. The checkered plastic grips are excellent with little to no wear. The metal finish has been re-blued & rates 94% overall with light wear. There are faint remains of cleaned pitting under the bluing in certain spots on the frame & slide. The left side of the slide is marked ''COLT'S PT.F.A.MFG.CO.HARTFORD.CT.U.S.A.'', ''PAT'D APR 20.1897.SEPT.9.1902.DEC.19.1905.FEB.14.1911.AUG.19.1913.''.The right side of the slide is marked ''COLT'', ''AUTOMATIC'', ''CALIBRE.45'', & a rampant colt stamp. The right side of the frame is marked ''GOVERNMENT MODEL'', & the S/N. the right side of the trigger guard is marked ''66''. The left side of the trigger guard is marked ''1'', & a ''VP'' in a triangle. The barrel is marked ''HS'' on one side of the link bracket & ''P'' on the other. This is a High Standard made barrel. The bore is very good. Its bright with one small spot of roughness & thinned rifling. The slide holds a blade front sight with a U-notch rear sight. There is a slight dent on the corner of the left ear of the rear sight. The pistol comes with one colt 7Rd. Mag. A very nicely done re-blue job on a classic colt M1911. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 700 to 1400
