Description

Essex (Ithaca slide), Model: M1911, Cal: .45 ACP, MFG: 1970s, S/N: 15015, semi-auto pistol, 4 1/4 barrel. The smooth wood grips are very good with a few superficial scratches & dents. The metal has been re-blued & rates 95%. Spots of cleaned pitting visible under the bluing in areas. The left side of the slide is marked ''ITHACA GUN CO., INC.'', ''ITHACA.N.Y.''. The right side of the frame is marked ''ESSEX ARMS CORP.'', ''ISLAND POND. VT.''. The front strap, back strap, & the front of the trigger guard have been stippled for added grip. The bore is very good. Its bright with a few spots of light roughness & light wear. The slide holds a wide blade front sight with a Elliason square-notch rear sight. Pistol comes with one 7 Rd. mag. FFL Req. - Value: 450 to 900
