Description

NAZI MARKED, Browning (Fabrique Nationale), Model: M1922, Cal: 7.65 (.32 ACP), MFG: 1940-44, S/N: 167268, Semi-auto pistol. The checkered wood grips are very good with light wear & dings from use. The metal finish rates 90% overall with a few spots of wear/thinning & scratches. The left side of the slide is marked with two Waffenamt proof marks & a iron eagle stamp, ''(H) FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE HERSTAL BELGIQUE'', ''BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE''. The ''(H)'' marking is half missing, but it appears to have been from a worn stamp from the factory, not from buffing. The left side of the trigger guard is marked with a faint ''MR''. The left side of the frame is marked a iron eagle stamp & a Waffenamt proof mark. The bottom of the trigger guard is marked with electro pencil ''Z629755''. The right side of the frame, barrel, & end slide cap, are all marked with the S/N. The bore is excellent. Slide holds a blade front sight with a V-notch rear sight. Pistol comes with one mag. This pistol was made when the Germany army occupied the FN plant in Belgium during WW2. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
