Description

Spanish, M1881Yataghan Artillery Short Sword with scabbard, made by Toledo Spain, the right side of the blade is marked ''ARTILLERIA.'', crown over crossed cannons, ''FABRICA DE TOLEDO''. The left side of the blade is marked ''14682''. The leather & metal scabbard has spotty rust & cracking leather. The sword was manufactured at the National Arsenal in Toledo Spain between 1881-1916 and was used mainly by Spanish soldiers associated with artillery during the Spanish American War. - Value: 100 to 200
