BOXED Browning, Model 1885 High Wall, Traditional Hunter 125 Year Commemorative, CAL: .45-70 Gov'T, MFG: 2003, SN: 02177MX371, Lever Falling block Single Shot Rifle, 28'' octagon barrel. The factory checkered & beavertail forend walnut wood stocks are excellent, displaying no handling marks to the excellent original finish. The stock displays wonderful grain & the checkering remains factory sharp. The original deep metal blue finish rates 99% overall. Both sides of the receiver display engraving & gold embellishment, with the wording ''125 Years Browning 1878- 2023''. Bore is excellent. The receiver is fitted with a flip-up aperture tang sight, while the barrel carries an adjustable rear & blade front sights. Buttstock carries a smooth crescent metal buttplate. Original sling studs, with detachable loops. Comes in the original SN matching box, with paperwork packet & lock. A very sharp looking throwback single shot rifle in like new condition.
