Marlin, Model 36 Carbine/Rifle, CAL: 30-30 WIN, MFG: 1947, SN: D18262, Lever Action Rifle, 20 1/4'' barrel, Full mag. The original flat pistol grip wood stocks are good & solid. The stock has been sanded & non-professionally refinished. The pistol grip has an added plastic cap. The forend has very nice rippled grain. The stock has a 1'' missing chunk at the buttend & near the comb. The original metal blue finish has worn mostly gun metal gray, with a thin brown patina & remnants of original blue. Bore is excellent. The barrel carries updated sights of Marbles adjustable rear & elongated tall blade front sights. Stock carries a Fajen plastic buttplate. Stock has the Marlin trademark bullseye in the stock. A good lever action 30-30 hunting rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
