Marlin, Model 336 A, marked .35 REM Cal., MFG. 1951, SN: H310011, Lever Action rifle, 24'' round barrel, Full mag., The original flat pistol grip wood stock is very good & solid. The left side of the wrist has two tight grain cracks running from the upper to lower tang. The stocks have been sanded & nicely refinished, with the stock having very nice rippled & feathered grain. There remains a few small scratches or contusions. Marlin bull's-eye in stock is missing. The reblued metal blue finish rates 85% overall, with most wear on the belly of receiver & lever. The receiver mounted with a Williams side mount receiver sight, while the barrel carries a Marble blank filled rear dovetail & large blade front sight. Bore is excellent. Stock carries a Marlin plastic buttplate. Tight smooth action. Sling loops. A nice looking hunting lever action. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
