Marlin, Model 39A, .22 S. L. LR Cal., MFG. 1939, SN: 3344, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' Round barrel, Full mag. The original scalloped pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, appearing to have been refinished some time ago with a high gloss finish. There are numerous minor to small rubs, nicks & contusions to the finish, with thinning wear mostly on the sides of the forend. The original metal blue rates 95% on barrel & tube, while the case-hardened receiver & lever display vivid case-colors on receiver, muted colors on the lever. Bore is excellent. Barrel carries an adjustable rear & front blade sight. Stock carries a replaced serrated black plastic buttplate. Tight action, Attractive original rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1500
