Savage, Model 99A, CAL: 250-3000 SAV, MFG: 1971, SN: A792102, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' round tapered barrel. The original smooth straight grip wood stock & schnabel forend are excellent. There are several tiny to minor handling marks, scrapes & light contusions mostly on the belly of the forend & to the excellent original finish. The original metal blue finish rates 98% on the barrel, 95% on the receiver, with portions of the receiver toning a plum/brown. The case-hardened lever retains very nice case-colors. Bore is excellent. The barrel holds an folding leaf rear sight & ramp elevated blade front sight. The stock carries the original grooved metal buttplate. An original & excellent overall vintage lever. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1500
