Winchester, Model 70 Featherweight, CAL: 308 WIN, MFG: 1953, SN: 266984, Bolt Action Rifle, 22'' barrel. The updated checkered & flat pistol grip synthetic stock is excellent, with very few use marks. The metal blue finish on the barrel appears to be a mix of original finish & an added layer of touchup finish in areas, with 90% coverage. The original satin black finish on the receiver rates 90% & 70% original blue left on trigger guard & floorplate. Bore is excellent. The receiver holds a Lyman All-American 4X scope, while the barrel has a blank filled rear dovetail & the ramp & front sight has been removed (thus the touchup blue on the barrel). Bell & Carlson solid rubber recoil pad. Sling studs. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
