BOXED & FANTASTIC Remington, Model 700 BDL 200th Anniversary , CAL: 7mm REM MAG, MFG:2016, SN: 20167001772, Bolt Action Rifle, 24'' round barrel. In 2016 Remington celebrated their 200th year in business. To commemorate this achievement, they offered a limited run of 2,016 classic Model 870, Model 1100, Model 700, Model 7600 & Model 1911 R1 firearms featuring a luxurious, sculpted 24 karat gold inlay portraying our founder, Eliphalet Remington, walking with his first forged barrel. This inlay is located on the floorplate of the model 700. This rifle is therefore 1 of just 2016 produced, with special serial number indicating this is rifle 1772. The original ''C'' grade American walnut Monte Carlo style stock is cheeked, has hand Fleur de Lis checkering & a capped pistol grip with a Gold medallion. The outstanding grain displays flame & rippled characteristics. Ebony wood forend tip. The stock is excellent, with no handling marks to the original excellent high gloss finish. The barrel & floorplate display classic American style engraving & gold Inlay. The rich high polished original metal blue finish rates 100% overall. Bore is mint. The barrel carries what Remington refers to as ''New England Custom Sights''. There is a band at the muzzle end of the barrel. Jeweled bolt. The stock carries a Remington ventilated recoil pad. Sling studs. The rifle is presented in the original SN matching commemorative Bicentennial box, with shipping box, paperwork & anniversary packet containing a historical Remington timeline & a certificate of authenticity.
