Remington, Model 700 BDL , CAL: 243 WIN, MFG:1974, SN: 6780267, Bolt Action Rifle, 22'' round barrel. The original cheeked, checkered & capped pistol grip Monte Carlo wood stock is very good & solid, but with several minor scrapes, scratches & contusions to the original high gloss finish. There is a 2'' grain crack starting along the edge next to a natural grain knot or swirl found on the left side of the stock just in front of the receiver. Does not affect stability or integrity of the wood. The stock carries an ebony toned forend tip & plastic pistol grip cap, which has a small missing chip on the back edge. The original metal blue finish rates 80% on the receiver, 75% on the barrel, with the barrel loss due to spotting & thinning.. Original blue on the floorplate & trigger guard, rates 90%. Bore is excellent. The receiver holds Leupold Vari-X 3-9 scope on Leupold blocks & rings, while the barrel is tapped with factory sight provisions for front & rear sights. Stock carries a Pachmayr White Line ventilated recoil pad. Sling studs. FFL or Req. - Value: 500 to 800
