Remington Model 722, CAL: 222 REM, MFG: 1948-62, SN: 365950, Bolt Action Rifle, 26'' barrel. The custom cheeked & flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent. There is a very nice wood cap on the pistol grip & very few handling marks to the excellent finish. The original metal blue finish rates 90% overall, with a bit more wear to the floorplate & trigger guard. Bore is excellent. The receiver carries a Tasco 6-24/40 scope on a Burris mount, while the barrel holds a blank filled rear dovetail & ramped front sight. Buttstock carries a Pachmayr ventilated recoil pad.
