Remington, Model 600 Carbine, CAL: 6MM REM, MFG: 1967, SN: 84823, Bolt Action Rifle, 18 1/2'' barrel. The original press checkered, raised comb & flat pistol grip wood stock is very good. There are numerous small scuffs, scrapes, contusions & chipping to the original finish, which is thinning & darkening at the carry points of the wrist & forend. The stock has been professionally shortened by 1'' & there is some finish flaking along this buttend edge. The Remington buttplate fits nicely. The metal blue finish rates 95% overall. Bore is excellent. The receiver carries a Bushnell ScopeChief IV 3X-9X scope mounted on Weaver rings on a bar rail. One of the scope's turrets is dented. The rear sight has been removed from the ventilated rib, but it still carries the elevated blade front sight. The rib is cracked under the front sight. Dog leg bolt handle. Sling studs, with an extra filled sling hole in buttstock beneath the lower stud. A great little compact bolt rifle set up ready for the hunt. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 750
