FN, Model Commercial GEW 98 Mauser, CAL: 30-06, MFG:1951(Belgium), SN: 11137, Bolt Action Rifle, 24'' Round barrel. The custom cheeked & flat pistol grip Monte Carlo style wood stock is excellent, with inlays in the underside of the forend, pistol grip & on the right side of the lower stock. The stock has heat crazing & scuffs to the high gloss refinish. The metal blue finish rates 95% overall. The barrel carries a period Lyman Alaskan All-Weather scope on a Buehler scope mount bar, while the barrel carries a blank filled front ramp. Bore is excellent. Stock carries a vintage White-Line thin rubber recoil pad. Sling studs. Jeweled Bolt. Matching SN on receiver & barrel. A nice looking custom & vintage rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
