Remington, Model 8, 35 REM CAL, MFG. 1914, SN: 33622, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original round knob pistol gripped wood stocks are excellent & solid. The have been cleaned, possibly lightly sanded & nicely refinished. The wood remains proud to the metal. There are minor scrapes, ding & contusions to the finish, with some black spotting on the forend under the finish. The original metal blue finish rates 50% on the barrel, 40% on the receiver & magazine, with areas of wear & thinning to gun metal gray. The barrel has standard adjustable rear sight & Marbles Sheard elongated front blade sight. Bore is very good. Stock carries the Remington plastic buttplate. 4 rd fixed magazine. Tight action. Nice looking early rifle with the round knob, cheeks & in a currently desirable hunting caliber. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 700 to 1000
