Remington, Model 8, .25 Rem Cal, MFG. 1912, SN: 29092, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original straight grip & schnabel forend stocks are excellent, with both appearing to carry the original finish, with a layer of added finish over the original. There are minor scuffs, scratches & contusions to the wood, & several larger scrapes to the lower half stock, mainly on the left side. The original metal blue finish rates 90% on the receiver, 85% on the barrel. Bore is good. Barrel is fitted with standard adjustable rear & blade front sights. Buttstock carries a Remington UMC plastic buttplate. 5 round fixed magazine. Tight action. The safety lever has some issues & doesn't always allow for trigger pull when open & won't always close into safety position either after pulling the trigger or before. We strongly recommend this rifle visit a gunsmith or knowledgeable repair individual to adjust or repair the issue before attempting to fire rifle. This is one of the rarer calibers & other than repair issue, a nice looking rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 800
