Remington, Model 8, .30 Rem Cal, MFG. 1930, SN: 62188, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original straight grip & schnabel forend stocks are excellent, with both carrying the original finish & an added protective layer of finish over the original. There are several minor to small scuffs, scratches & contusions to the wood & finish, with some thinning of the finish on the belly of the wrist. The original metal blue finish rates 95% on the barrel, 90% on the receiver, with the outer magazine side spring on the right side showing additional wear. Bore is excellent. The receiver is fitted with a Marble tang sight, while the barrel carries a blank in the rear sight position & a blade front sight. Stock carries the popular bottom tang crescent metal buttplate. 5 round fixed magazine. Tight action. An overall excellent appearing rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 700 to 1000
