Remington, Model 8, .32 Rem Cal, MFG. 1921, SN: 45661, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel. Both the left & right sides of the barrel carry a repair code from where the rifle was returned to the factory for unknown repair or upgrade. These repair stampings typically are a 3 or 4 digit code ending in ''3'', but the right side is unusual as I have never seen a right side stamping & it is only two digits ''G3''. The original straight grip & schnabel forend stocks are very good, with both carrying the original finish & an older thin protective layer of finish over the original. There are several minor scuffs, scratches & contusions to the wood & finish, with some darkening of the finish at the wrist. The original metal blue finish rates 75 to 80% overall. Bore is excellent. The barrel carries standard front & rear sights. Stock carries the popular Remington UMC bottom tang crescent metal buttplate. 5 round fixed magazine, with a small crease dent on the right & a bulge opposite on the left side. Tight action. A nice looking & mostly original rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 800
