Remington, Model 8, .35 Rem Cal, MFG. 1930, SN: 62137, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original straight grip & schnabel forend stocks are very good to excellent, having been cleaned & possibly lightly sanded with an added layer of finish over what remained of the original finish. There are several minor scuffs, scratches & contusions to the wood & finish, with some areas of thinning finish. The original metal blue finish rates 80% on barrel & receiver, with 60% remaining on mag. Bore is excellent. Receiver previously mounted with tang sight, has filler screw. The barrel carries standard front & rear sights. Stock carries the bottom tang crescent metal buttplate. Open hole in belly of the stock, likely from sling stud removal. 4 round fixed magazine. Tight action. A very nice looking & a good hunting rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 800
