Remington, Model 81, 30 REM. CAL, MFG. 1950, SN: 55691, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, but with several minor to small scrapes, scratches & contusions, along with some thinning & edge wear to the original finish. The original metal blue finish rates 95% overall. The receiver is mounted with a Redfield receiver/tang sight, which requires the additional screw above the factory screw hole provision. The barrel carries Marbles folding leaf rear sight & a Lyman front blade sight. Bore is excellent. Stock carries the Remington checkered metal buttplate. 5 rd fixed magazine. An overall excellent & all original standard 81 rifle, with upgraded sights. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1200
