CASED Thompson Auto Ordnance Corporation, (Kahr Arms), Models Thompson 1927A-1 Rifle, CAL: 45 ACP, MFG: Modern, SN: KA9582, Semi Auto Rifle, 16.5'' (18 1/2'' with compensator). Thompson Auto Ordnance Corporation was a U.S. arms development firm founded by retired Colonel John T. Thompson of the United States Army Ordnance Department in 1916. Auto-Ordnance is best known for the Thompson submachine gun, used as a military weapon by the Allied forces in World War II, & also notorious as a gangster weapon used during the Roaring Twenties. The Thompson .45 ACP models produced by Auto-Ordnance & Kahr Arms in Worcester, MA are faithful semi-auto firing replicas of the famous ''Chicago Typewriter.'' This set includes is a replica of a Deluxe Thompson 1927A-1 Carbine (Tommy Gun), a 50 round rotary drum mag, three 20 round stick mags & a reproduction U.S. marked mag pouch, all in the original Thompson hard case. The deluxe American walnut vertical foregrip, pistol grip & fixed stock are mint, displaying beautiful wood grain & factory finish. The factory metal blue finish rates 99%+. The gun weighs 12 lbs. without a mag choice & has an overall length of 40''. Features include a pinned in front blade & an open rear adjustable sight. Bore is mint. The gun come stored together in a polymer hard case with the yellow Thompson Bullet logo. Factory owner's manuals, booklets & locks are included in case.
