Cooey, (By Winchester), Model 64B, Marked .22 LR Cal., MFG. 1964-70, SN: None, Tubular Mag Semi-Auto Rifle, 20 1/8'' round barrel. Production for the model 64 began in 1964 after Olin Mathieson Chemical Corp., under the Winchester-Western division, acquired in 1961 the Canadian Cooey Machine & Arms Co. The original flat pistol grip wood stock is good, but with numerous scratches, scrapes & contusions to the flaking original finish. The original metal blue finish rates 70% overall, with rust speckling & pitting. The rifle is missing the bolt charging handle & there are several scratches on the right side of the receiver where other items were used to try & cock the bolt. Bore is good. Factory front & rear sights. Factory Winchester plastic buttplate. Missing the detachable mag. The rifle appears to function, but due to the missing parts as mentioned, this rifle is being sold ''AS-IS'', with no returns. A rarely encountered Cooey/Winchester semi-auto .22. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 50 to 100
