Winchester, Model 74, Marked .22 SHORT Cal., MFG. 1939, SN: 30020, Semi-Auto Action Rifle, 24'' round barrel. Tube mag fed through the buttstock. Collectors pay more for SHORT only variation & pre-WWII production. The factory flat pistol grip wood stock is good & solid, with several minor scrapes, scuffs & small contusions to the finish, along with one larger gouge on the right side of the stock behind the pistol grip. The original metal blue finish is thinning gray, with 60% coverage remaining on the barrel & receiver. The blue has mostly worn from the trigger guard. Bore is very good. Barrel carries an adjustable rear sight missing the elevator & standard front blade sight. Factory checkered metal buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
