Remington, Model 24 Take-down, Marked .22 SHORT LESMOK or SMOKELESS-GREASED Cal., MFG 1922, SN: 11191, Semi Auto Rifle, 19 1/2'' round barrel. Early first year production. The original wood stocks are good & solid, despite having a 3'' crack on the left wrist & two 2'' cracks at the bottom of the pistol grip emanating from the lower tang. The stocks has numerous small scratches, scrapes & contusions to the original finish. The back upper corners of the forend also chipped off. The original metal finishes have worn mostly gun metal gray, with a thin brown patina. Barrel is stamped with the SN ''11191'' on the underside just ahead of the forend tip. Bore is fair, with worn rifling & some areas of pitting. Original factory sights, with the rear adjustment screw missing. Fitted with the original metal buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
