Winchester, Model 61, Marked .22 WIN. MAG. R.F., MFG. 1960's, SN: 02345, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' round barrel, Desirable single caliber marking, with .22 Win Mag being the most desirable in the round barrels. This gun comes from a consigner who at one time owned a gun shop, was a FFL dealer & worked with the Sacramento Police Department selling their confiscated or surplus firearms. This gun came from the SPD without a serial number or model number after having been obliterated. It was cleared by the SPD & the FFL dealer, who was authorized, was able to assign & restamp a new SN. Thus the unusual SN. We have verified the firearm with the ATF as presented & it comes back clean. The original flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, with the original finish & with a few handling marks. The original metal blue finish is 95% overall, with two areas of touch-up at the SN & roll stamp on the barrel for reasons previously mentioned. Original sights. Factory plastic buttplate. Bore is excellent. A very nice & collectible example other than the issues described. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 400 to 800
