Savage Arms Corp. Model 29, marked .22 S. L. LR., MFG: 1929-33, SN: None, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel. The original checkered & flat grip wood stocks are good & solid, but there is a 3 1/2'' toe repair in the stock. There are several minor to small contusions, scratches & scrapes. The wood carries the original finish, with an added layer of finish. The metal blue finish has worn mostly gun metal gray, with a mix of some remaining blue in more protected areas & a thin brown patina. Bore is very good. Adjustable rear & front blade sights. Factory plastic buttplate was likely broken at time of toe break & has thus been replaced with a nicely fit copper buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
