C.J Hamilton & Sons Model 39, .22 SHORT, MFG: 1922-30, SN: NONE, Pump Action Rifle, 15 3/4'' barrel. 35'' overall length. This is the only repeating rifle manufactured by Hamilton. The tubular magazine holds 15 cartridges. The wood stocks are good & solid, having been lightly sanded & refinished. There are small contusions & scratches to the wood. The metal blue finish has worn to a thin brown patina, with spotty remnants of blue in protected areas. Steel rolled barrel, with original brass liner. The 12 groove bore with 1 turn in 16'', r.h. twist, is good, but with worn or smoothing rifling. Barrel fitted with open adjustable rear & standard front sight. Original thin metal buttplate.
