J. G. Anschutz Ulm. Model 1710 D HB, 150th Year Anniversary Edition, CAL: .22 LR, MFG: 2006, SN: 3070771, Bolt Action Rifle, 23'' Stainless bull barrel. This rifle was produced to commemorate the 150 year anniversary of Anschutz & is #62 of just 150 produced in this limited offering. Suggested retail at the time was $2,295. The model 1710 began production in the early 1990's & was produced utilizing the Match 54 bolt action. The Match 54 is a reference class for small bore rifles & has been used in the Olympic Games & World Championships. Anschutz rifles are know for their high level of technology & traditional craftmanship. The original deluxe basket weave checkered & rose wood capped pistol grip walnut stock is excellent, with virtually no handling marks to the excellent original finish. The wood grain is fantastic. The stock has the carved ornamentation of the Anschutz logo that have been utilized throughout the company's rich tradition & 150 year anniversary wording. The bolt handle is also made of matching walnut. The metal blue finish rates 99% overall. The stainless barrel carries the engravings of the original 1901 Germania Logo, with limited edition markings. The custom trigger guard has the 1856 Anschutz Founder's Logo in gold encasing the gold tone trigger. Bore is excellent & bright. The receiver is grooved & carries a Leupold VX-3i 6.5-20X50mm Gold Ring scope. The barrel has no open sight provisions. Buttstock carries the original solid rubber recoil pad. Sling studs. An excellent German & very high quality produced .22 bolt rifle. FFL Req. - Value: 1200 to 2300
