Mossberg, Model 342, CAL: 22 S,L,LR, MFG: 1957-59, SN: NONE, Bolt Action Carbine Length Rifle, 18 1/4'' barrel. The original round knob Monte Carlo stock style is excellent & solid, but does have an added layer of finish which has some heat damage of an orange peel texture. This model has a unique fold-down black plastic foregrip. The stock displays minor scratches scrapes & contusions. The metal blue finish rates 90% overall. Bore is excellent. The receiver holds Weaver CV3 Micro-trac scope, while the back left side of the receiver has the factory two screw holes for mounting of a receiver sight. The barrel has no open sights as the front sight has been removed. Stock carries a grooved plastic buttplate. Sling loops mounted on the left side of stock carry the original factory sling.
