Winchester, Model 1902, Early first variation, .22 Short & Long (not marked Extra Long like later examples) Cal., MFG. 1902-03, SN: None, Bolt Action Rifle, 18'' Tapered round barrel. The original wood stock is very good & solid, with numerous minor handling marks, contusions & scratches. The metal blue has worn mostly gun metal gray, with a thin brown patina. Bore is fair, with some roughness amongst thinning rifling. The barrel holds a fixed rear & small blade front sights. Stock carries the original worn hard rubber buttplate, with engraved screws.
