Savage, Model 1904, CAL: 22 S,L,LR, MFG: 1904-24, SN: 182254, Bolt Action Rifle, 18'' barrel, 6 grooves 1 turn in 16''. The original straight grip wood stock is very good & solid. There are several minor contusions, nicks & scratches to the original finish & a thin layer of added finish over much of the original finish. The original metal blue finish has worn mostly gun metal gray, with a thin spotty brown patina. The original serpentine trigger guard has a thin brown patina. Bore is very good. The rifle holds a small screw adjusting rear sight & small blade front sight. Buttstock carries a smooth metal Savage buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 120 to 250
