Harrington & Richardson Arms Co. Model 365 ''REG' LAR'', CAL: 22 S/L/LR, MFG: 1946-47, SN: 856, Bolt Action Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stock rates just fair, due mainly to the 3'' cracks on each side of the pistol grip leading from the trigger guard. There are few minor surface scrapes & scratches to the original thin finish, which has mainly worn away leaving the wood looking almost in the raw. The metal blue finish has been buffed away during an attempted to clean away rust pitting. Lots of cleaned pitting scars the barrel & receiver. Bore is fair due to pitting & roughness amongst strong rifling. The rifle carries a Lyman 55H receiver sight missing one mounting screw, while the barrel has a ramped blade front sight & no rear sight provision. Buttstock is missing the buttplate.
