Winchester, Model 12, CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1946, SN: 1004337, Pump Action Shotgun, Choke: CYL, 2 3/4'' Chamber, 20'' barrel. The shotgun presents as U.S. Military Riot gun, with U.S. & flaming bomb stamping on the right side of receiver, flaming bomb on the top of the barrel & ''GHD'' cartouche & crossed cannons stamped on the left side of stock. The original flat pistol grip & corncob forend wood stocks are excellent, with few blemishes to what appears to be the original finish. The stock has been cut to a 12 3/4 length of pull & a Winchester plastic buttplate altered to fit. The buttend edge of the wood on the right side was rounded (sanded) a bit to fit. There is a tight 2'' hairline crack a the left wrist. The metal blue finishes rates 85% overall, with some abrasions to the barrel. Matching SN on belly of receiver & barrel collar. The finish on the bracket holding the barrel & mag tube is toning plum. Bore is excellent. Barrel appears to be cut to current length & it has no front sight bead. Sling loop in stock.
