Winchester, Defender (1300), 12 Ga., MFG. Late 1970's-80's, SN: L2166070, Pump Action Shotgun, 2 3/4'' & 3'', CYL+, 18 1/2'' barrel, Full length seven round mag tube. Production of the 1300 shotgun started in the 70's as an improved & more cost effective variation of the model 1200. The Defender variant of the 1300 was aimed at military, police & home defense use. It features an 18.5-inch barrel & a full-length seven-round magazine tube. The original stock has been replaced with a Choate Tool folding tactical stock & pistol grip combination, which is excellent. The original corncob wood forend is excellent, with very few tiny use blemishes to the original finish. The original metal blue finish on the barrel 95%, while the Japan Black finish on the receiver rates 90% due to some scratch & blemish loss. The mag tube carries a Lixada LED tactical flashlight. The picatinny rail on top of the receiver carries a red dot scope, with multiple reticle settings, brightness adjustment & red/green dot options. The rail also carries a red laser dot, which needs a new battery. Single front bead on barrel, Bores is excellent, bright & clean. Sling provision. FFL Req. - Value: 300 to 500
