RARE Remington, Model 870 ALL AMERICAN TRAP GUN, CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1972-78, SN: S546420V, Pump Action Shotgun, 2 3/4'', Choke: FULL, 30'' Ventilated rib. The 870 All American Trap Guns were built during the mid 70's as a high grade trap gun to honor the All American Trap Shooting Competition for which Remington fielded a company team. They featured a scroll engraved receiver, trigger guard & rear section of the barrel. The left side of the receiver carried an All American gold shield with an eagle & red, white & blue banners. The stocks were made from high grade deluxe walnut & featured a capped pistol grip & fine checkering. The original stocks on this example are excellent, with beautiful rippled & flame grain, sharp checkering, & very few minor handling blemishes to the original high gloss finish. The original metal blue finish rates 98% overall, with wear loss mostly to the mag tub & pump action bars. Bore is excellent. The barrel rib holds a silver mid bead & white front bead. Stock carries a Decelerator recoil pad, LOP: 14 1/4'' over pad. This is an overall excellent, all original & high grade variation of the Remington 870 shotgun. FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 1500
