Wards Western Field (J. Steven), Model 30- SB562A, CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1912-32, SN: 91723, Pump Action Shotgun, 2 3/4, MOD, 28'' barrel. A Browning patented action & variation of a Stevens model 520. The checkered & flat pistol grip stocks are good & solid. The stock carries a deep relief carving of a grouse. The stocks carry an added coat of finish over the original the finish. The stocks have numerous small scratches, scrapes & contusions. There is a 1'' stress crack at the right wrist. The original metal blue finish rates 80% on carrel & receiver, toning gray/brown as it ages. The finish on the mag tube has worn mostly gray, with some mix of remaining blue & areas toning brown. Metal surfaces have some speckling. Bore is very good. The stock carries a vintage recoil pad. Barrel carries a single front bead. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 150 to 300
