ENGRAVED FN Belgium Browning, A-5 Light Twenty, CAL: 20 GA, MFG: 1968, SN: 68ZFN79627, Semi-Automatic Shotgun, Choke: MOD, 27 1/2'' Ventilated barrel. FN Belgium produced A5 with FN marked barrel. The receiver displays wonderful & intricate full coverage hand custom engraving, with floral/vine, scrolls & game scenes. The left side of the receiver has a retriever & three grouse, while the right side has a bobcat hunting three hares. The upper tang has a gold line engraved & inlaid monogram with three letters ''THD''. The trigger guard also displays a similar floral/vine engraving. The checkered & flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent, displaying very few tiny handling blemishes to the original high gloss finish. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 99%, toning to a rich plum patina. The receiver is left ''in the white'' after being engraved & the trigger guard has an anodized Japan black finish, with the engraving also left in the white. Bore is excellent. The ventilated rib carries a single front bead. Buttstock carries a FN Browning black plastic buttplate LOP: 14''. Sling loops. Gold trigger. An overall excellent & fabulously hand engraved collectible. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 1500 to 4500
