Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works, Model 1900 ''Ring Action'', CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1905-08, SN: 49398, Break Action Single Shot Shotgun, 26 1/8'' barrel. The Iver Johnson Ring Action was the Model of 1900. Patent Number 697,516 was issued April 15, 1902 to O. F. Mossberg for a firearm lock, & assigned to Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works. Old advertisements show the asking price was $7.25. The round knob pistol grip wood stock & forend are very good & solid. There are numerous contusions, scrapes & scratches to the wood, which carries an added high gloss finish. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 20%, with the majority toned to gray/brown patina, & with small areas of rust pitting grey. The case-hardened receiver has worn to metal grey, with brown patina & some remnants of case-colors in protected areas. Bore is very good, with bright & clean. The barrel holds a single front brass bead. Stock carries a I.J plastic buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
