CASED, Unmarked, Mowery Style, Take down Muzzleloader, Cal: .34, MFG: circa 1850's-60's, S/N: None, Percussion, 22 3/4'' octagon barrel, turns round just at the muzzle. The straight wrist walnut buttstock is very good as being lightly sanded & oiled. Metal is slightly proud to wood around the upper tang & toe of stock. The end of the bottom tang & left tang of wrist, have small inlaid wood repairs. The metal has toned to a mixture of brown patina, orange rust patina, & spots of light pitting. Only markings on gun are at the muzzle end & read ''340'', ''L''. The bore is very good, near excellent. Its bright with one spot of roughness/ light pitting at the muzzle. the barrel holds a small barley corn front sight with a fixed U-notch rear. Stock carries a brass crescent moon buttplate, has spots of patina & dings. Rifle has ramrod. Rifle comes with custom a oak case with green cloth interior. Red bullseye painted onto top of case. Rifle fits into case broken down. Inside the case is a extra ram rod, bullet starter, powder horn with two top spouts, brass bullet mold for both round & conical bullet, take down tools, a couple round balls, a set of cleaning jags, & a few other Misc. tools. A nice example of a seldom seen, antique take down ''Squirrel Gun''. Muzzleloader/Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 2500
