Richland Arms Co., Model: Wesson Rifle, Cal: .50, MFG: 1977-86, S/N: 2026, percussion muzzleloader, 28'' octagon barrel. The checkered two piece, wood stock is excellent with a couple minor nicks & scratches patch box in right cheek of stock. the blued finish on the barrel rates 80% with wear on corners & near percussion nipple, & speckled rust patina. The case hardened finish on the receiver remains in parts of the bottom, left side, & in protected areas. The bore is very good. Its bright with light pitting/roughness near muzzle. the barrel holds a wide blade front sight with a square notch, fixed rear sight. The stock carries a steel crescent moon buttplate. Rifle has ramrod. Double set trigger. Designed by E. Wesson (one of the 3 famed Wesson brother gunsmiths) in 1841. Muzzleloader, No FFL Req. - Value: 450 to 800
