R.E. Terni, Model: M91/30 Carcano, Cal: 6.5x52mm, MFG: 1941, S/N: BT-2027, Bolt action rifle, 21 1/2'' barrel. The straight wrist beechwood stock is excellent as being sanded & oiled. There is a 1 1/2'' crack on the upper handguard. Metal is proud to the wood around the buttplate, upper tang & trigger guard/magazine. No visible cartouches on the stock. The blued metal finish rates 95% overall with slight haziness. The left side of the receiver has one small proof stamp. The rear of the barrel is marked with Italian proofs, the S/N, ''ITALY'', crown over ''RE'', ''TERNI'', ''MADE ITALY'', ''1941 XIX'', ''X'', ''M''. The top of the rear sight is marked ''CAL.6.5''. The bolt handle is marked ''S'' on the top, & the Fabbrica Nazionale D'Armi Subcontractor mark on the bottom. The bore is very good. Its bright with strong rifling but has spots of light roughness. The barrel holds a wide square post front sight with a fixed V-notch rear sight. The stock carries a steel trapdoor buttplate, toning to a brown patina. Rifle has sidle sling mounts & comes with a leather sling. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 500
