Chinese, Model: Type 56 SKS, Cal: 7.62x39mm, MFG: Mid 1970's, S/N: 22000834, Semi-auto rifle, 20 1/4'' barrel. The semi-pistol grip wood stock is very good with nicks, dings, scratches & wear from use/age. The Last 6 digits of the S/N are stamped into the left cheek of the stock. The blued metal finish rates 90% overall with a few spots of wear & patina/rust speckling. The left side of the receiver is marked with a buffed rectangle arsenal code that appears to read ''0?35'', Three Chinese characters that read ''TYPE 56 CARBINE'', S/N, ''D'', & import markings. The top rear of the barrel is marked ''50''. S/N matching bolt, trigger guard, & receiver cover. The bore is excellent. Bright & mirror like with little visible wear. The barrel holds a post front sight with protective globe. Rifle has a Magwedge SKS Kwikrail attached, it hooks into the rear sight & has two screws that tenson onto the rear of the receiver. The rail has mounted a Mosin PU style aftermarket scope, 3.5 x 22, has PU style recital. Front of scope has electrical tape around it. The stock carries a blued steel trapdoor buttplate. Trapdoor has cleaning kit inside. Rifle has a affixed folding cruciform bayonet, Green canvas sling, & a 30 Rd. detachable SKS mag (Not AK), Unknown MFG, marked USA on base plate.
