DWM, Model Argentino 1909 Mauser, Cal: 7.65x53mm Argentine, MFG: 1912, S/N: P0567, Bolt action rifle, 29 1/2'' barrel. The semi-pistol grip wood stock is very good, near excellent with a few dings & scratches. There are cartouches on the right cheek & belly of the stock, all are crisp & legible. The S/N is stamped into the right side of the stock, in front of the recoil lug. Upper handguard is marked with a sun over ''RA'' in a circle cartouche. With the condition the stock is in, it is likely a replacement stock from a arsenal. The stock was forced matched to the rifle when it was taken out of service, refurbished & put into storage. The blued metal finish on the barrel rates 96%, this was likely re-blued by the arsenal when it was refurbished. The receiver was left in the white (unfinished) from the factory. Left side of receiver is marked ''MAUSER MODELO'', ''ARGENTINO 1909'', ''DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND'', ''MUNITIONSABRIKEN.BERLIN'', top of receiver is marked with the Argentina coat of arms, right side of receiver is marked with S/N & a inspector mark. S/N matching Bolt. The bore is excellent. Bright & mirror like with little to no visible wear. The barrel holds a barleycorn front sight with a tangent V-notch rear sight marked 3 to 20. the stock carries a bare steel buttplate. Rifle has both bottom sling swivels, & has a S/N matching cleaning rod. The ''P'' serial block was the last block of 10,000 Rifle made by DWM. A excellent example of a Arsenal refurbished Argentine Mauser. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
