Colt, 1851 Navy - Fourth Model, CAL: 36, MFG: 1858, SN: 87743, Single Action Percussion Revolver, 7 1/2'' octagon barrel. The original wood grips are very good & solid. There are contusions, scrapes, dings & spots of flaking/thinning finish. The original metal blue finish on the barrel & cylinder has fully worn to metal gray, toned to a brown patina. The case-hardened frame has also fully worn to metal gray & toned to a brown patina. Bore is good & bright, but has intermittent pitting. The top of the barrel carries a single line address stamp. The left side of the frame is marked ''COLTS PATENT''. There is a single ''G'' on the left side of the trigger guard. The Texas Navy battle scene on the cylinder is visible, but worn thin. All matching SN on the frame, trigger guard, barrel, butt, cylinder & wedge. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 1500 to 2500
